Maintenance Operative
We are looking for a hard-working, friendly, enthusiastic and ambitious person to join our growing Facilities Management team. You will be responsible for carrying out minor repairs and maintenance in residential and commercial properties across Newcastle.
If you have experience in painting and decorating, basic plumbing and electrics, joinery work such as furniture repairs then we would love to hear from you. We offer a competitive salary and inclusion in the company bonus scheme.
The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving license and be comfortable using computers/tablets which will be relied on to generate invoices and manage jobs. Full training on our computer software will be provided.
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 40 hours per week
Qualified Electrician
We are looking for a Qualified Electrician to join our growing team. We're in search of someone who is experienced in their field and who genuinely takes pride in their work.
This role is new to the business and we would be looking for a candidate who wants to grow and progress within the business and the potential opportunity to develop their own team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a fully qualified electrician and have at least 3 years of experience and willing to develop and grow as part of the expanding business. FRM are looking for an ambitious person to develop this part of the business, with progression available throughout their career with FRM.

The role's responsibilities include:
Working individually or as part of a team undertaking high quality Electrical Repairs and Installation works. Complying with BS7671 standards and company standards of work performance, ensuring implementation and compliance within Electrical policies and procedures. Ensuring implementation and compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures. Utilising both our CRM system and reporting software to accurately record documentation and produce certificates if required. Maintaining van stock and provide information enabling the improvements of first time fixes for the area you work within.
The ideal candidate is flexible and willing to work overtime to cover workloads during busy periods, as well as being willing to attend a call out where necessary. They will also demonstrate a positive, diverse and inclusive attitude to both internal and external customers and colleagues.
Relevant qualifications and licenses include:
- Electrical Testing & Inspection, able to test their own work and complete EICR’s (domestic and commercial). City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 combined.
- 18th Edition qualified
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification in electrical installation work e.g. C&G 2330, 2360,2357, 2365

Heating Engineer
We are looking for a qualified Heating Engineer to join our growing team. We're in search of someone who is experienced in their field and who genuinely takes pride in their work.

Installing, repairing, and maintaining heating systems in residential and commercial buildings. Performing routine maintenance tasks on heating equipment. Diagnosing and troubleshoot heating system issues. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently. Providing excellent customer service and address client concerns. Keeping accurate records of work performed and carrying out various domestic plumbing and heating tasks as assigned.
Must have excellent fault finding and diagnosis skills on all boilers and gas appliances
Relevant qualifications and licenses include:
- Driving Licence (required)
- NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating (required)
- CCN1 Domestic Gas Safety (required)
